DC Comics Reveals New Band Covers for DARK NIGHTS: DEATH METAL Featuring Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth, and More

DC Comics is getting ready to make comic fans and metal fans pretty happy. The 7-issue series Dark Nights: Death Metal is about to release internationally with some awesome metal bands being featured on the covers for Dark Nights: Death Metal – Band Edition. Each issue features a different popular metal band including Megadeth, Dream Theater, and Ozzy Osbourne to name a few on the cover, an introduction form the band, and an exclusive interview. The series was written by Scott Snyder and features art by Greg Capullo.

When the Earth is enveloped by the Dark Multiverse, the Justice League is at the mercy of the Batman Who Laughs. Humanity struggles to survive in a hellish landscape twisted beyond recognition, while Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman, who have all been separated, fight to survive.

The single issues will release monthly in Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, and Turkey. The Collectors’ Omnibus Edition with bonus content will then release in these countries as well as Czech Republic, Japan, Korea, Poland, and Russia. Exact release dates will be announced later by DC’s publishing partners.
