DC to Add All Their Comics to DC Universe with a Small Caveat

Fans seem to be enjoying the content on DC Universe, DC’s online streaming platform, and it’s about to get a lot better. At WonderCon, DC Comics announced that starting this month, April, all of the comics released by DC ever will become available to read via DC Universe. There is a small caveat that this excludes anything that came out within the last 12 months and that is the standard going forward. That means that you may not be able to read the latest comics, but you still get 80 years of history for as little as $7.99 a month. That’s a pretty good deal before you add in all the shows and films that also come with the service. Sam Ades, Senior VP and General Manager of DC Universe said the following:

From the time DC Universe launched last year, our fans have loved the comic experience and have asked us for just one thing – more! The expansion to thousands of titles in January 2019 was a first step in our goal to deliver on that request, to provide DC Universe members full access to the pantheon of DC’s epic Super Hero stories. We’re thrilled to respond to our fans yet again with the incredible value of the ultimate DC digital comics library.

Are you a subscriber yet? Does the addition of so many comics change your mind on the service?
