DC Universe Has Dropped an Awesomely Intense Full Trailer for SWAMP THING
A full trailer has finally been released for the DC Universe series Swamp Thing. Up until this point we’ve seen a bunch of great teasers, but this full trailer gives us out best look yet at what’s in store for the fans! I’ve gotta say… it look really freakin’ good!
The trailer does a great job of building the intensity and showing off the nightmarish horror that awaits. I am actually super excited for this series! I love the tone and the vibe, and it looks like producer James Wan and director Len Wiseman are going to deliver a hell of a great show!
Swamp Thing follows "CDC researcher Abby Arcane (Crystal Reed), who returns to her childhood home of Houma, Louisiana, in order to investigate a deadly swamp-borne virus. She develops a surprising bond with scientist Alec Holland, only to have him tragically taken from her. But as powerful forces descend on Houma, intent on exploiting the swamp’s mysterious properties for their own purposes, Abby will discover that the swamp holds mystical secrets, and the potential love of her life may not be dead after all."
Swamp Thing is set to premiere on May 31st.
The series also stars Will Patton (We Are The Titans, Halloween) as Avery Sunderland alongside Virginia Madsen (Sideways), who is playing his wife Maria Sunderland. Then there’s Andy Bean as Alec Holland, Derek Mears as Swamp Thing, Crystal Reed (Gotham) as Abby, Maria Sten (Straight Outta Compton, Channel Zero) as her friend Liz Tremayne, Kevin Durand (Lost, The Strain, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) as the villain Jason Woodrue, a.k.a. The Floronic Man, and Ian Ziering (Sharknado) as David Cassidy, a.k.a. Blue Devil.
