DC Universe Set to Bring Panels, Events, Screenings, and News to San Diego Comic-Con
Every day we get more info on the awesomeness that is coming to the Con this year. And DC Universe is really bringing it in full force! There will be giveaways and prizes especially for the subscribing fans of DC Universe, and the streaming service is bringing info from all their originals including Titans, Doom Patrol, Young Justice: Outsiders, and their upcoming adult-animated comedy series, Harley Quinn.
Stars and creators will be in attendance and all the big reveals will take place at a two-hour DC Universe event Saturday, July 20th, starting at 7:00pm in the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton Bayfront. Fans of DC Daily, the news program for all things DC, will be hosting a panel for fans on Friday, July 19 at 10:00am in Room 9.
The DC press release includes an impressive list of the benefits afforded to their DC Universe members. Here’s what they had to say:
A fantastic line-up of exclusive events and giveaways will give DC UNIVERSE annual members unique experiences they would not have access to anywhere else. A DC UNIVERSE membership opens the door for a chance to attend exclusive signings, screenings and private gatherings, including:
● An all-inclusive trip to San Diego awarded in a sweepstakes through the DC UNIVERSE service*
● Passes to the exclusive screening of the premiere of DC Spotlight: Shazam, a behind-the-scenes documentary
● VIP tickets to attend Batman’s induction into the Comic Con Museum Hall of Fame
● Access to sign-up for a members-only signing with Jim Lee, world-renowned comic book artist, writer, editor and Publisher of DC
● A chance to attend a private, DCU member brunch on a yacht in the San Diego Marina with surprise talent appearances and special giveaways

That’s pretty awesome! I don’t know if any other streamers are giving these kind of benefits. But if you’re still not sold, just know there is still a lot for fans to enjoy. One cool event that you don’t even need Comic-Con passes for is the The Batman Experience Powered by AT&T. The experience will be open to the public at the Comic-Con Museum in Balboa Park at 10:00 a.m. from Thursday, July 18th through Sunday, July 21st. It’s free and sounds like a very cool exhibit to check out.
