DC's BIRDS OF PREY Gets a FRIENDS Inspired Poster

Following the first full trailer for DC’s Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), we have a new poster to share with you and it was inspired by the classic 90s TV sitcom Friends.

The poster features Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco) and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez) hangin out on an ugly-ass couch, like the characters of Friends at Central Perk.

The trailer for the film was released last week and for the most part, fans seemed a bit underwhelmed by it. The majority of the trailer focused on Harley Quinn, and it was kind of a missed opportunity to give audiences a good introduction to the rest of the badass characters that make up the Birds of Prey team.

Here’s the synopsis that was shared:

Since the events of Suicide Squad, Batman has disappeared, leaving Gotham City unprotected from crime, and Harley Quinn has left the Joker. When Cassandra Cain, a young girl, comes across a diamond belonging to crime lord Black Mask, Harley joins forces with Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to help protect her.

The movie was directed by Cathy Yan and it also stars Ewan McGregor as the villainous Black Mask and Chris Messina as the serial killer, Victor Zsasz.

The movie will be released on February 7th, 2020.
