DC's BIRDS OF PREY is Getting a Lot of Fantabulous Positive Buzz! The First Reactions Are In

The first reactions have come in from an early press screening for DC’s Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). I’m actually surprised to see all of the positive reactions that it’s getting! I’ve had low expectations for the film, but I was hoping that the film would exceed those expectations, and according to these reactions… maybe it will. It sounds like it will at least keep audiences and fans entertaining!

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if audiences respond to the movie in a positive way. The film comes from director Cathy Yan, and the movie stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as plays Canary, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, and Ewan McGregor as Black Mask. Here’s the synopsis for the movie:

Since the events of Suicide Squad, Batman has disappeared, leaving Gotham City unprotected from crime, and Harley Quinn has left the Joker. When Cassandra Cain, a young girl, comes across a diamond belonging to crime lord Black Mask, Harley joins forces with Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to help protect her.

#BirdsofPrey is a ridiculous and rad superhero film. The fight scenes are phenomenal and the villains are delicious. It shouldn't have taken this long to get the Birds of Prey on film but it was a lot of fun.
