DC's BIRDS OF PREY Will Get an Early Home Entertainment Release on VOD and There's a Promo Trailer

Warner Bros. has made the decision to release Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) for home entertainment early as a way to help keep people entertained while in self-isolation.

Disney has released Frozen 2 and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker earlier than expected. Universal Pictures is also releasing The Hunt, The Invisible Man, Emma, and Trolls World Tour on VOD early as well. As expected, other studios like WB are following suit.

Birds of Prey will be made available to watch on VOD on Tuesday, March 24th, and it will cost you $19.99 on Amazon, iTunes, and other platforms.

After the news hit that Universal would be releasing some of their films on VOD early, Birds of Prey director Cathy Yan shared on Twitter that she would not be “opposed to putting Birds of Prey on VOD earlier.”

Here’s a trailer to promote the release:

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Birds of Prey, there were some fun moments, but there were other people that loved it that I’m sure will be happy about this news. If you haven’t seen the movie yet, this is a good opportunity to check it out for yourself!
