DC's JOKER Gets the Honest Trailers Treatment

As you know, director Todd Phillips’ Joker is being showered with all kinds of love during awards season, and Joaquin Phoenix is pretty much winning every Best Acting award that he’s nominated for. I loved the film, it’s one of my favorites of the years, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to joke around with about it.

That’s where Honest Trailers comes in. They’ve released a new video that breaks down the depressing story and points out the reasons why the movie became a billion-dollar success. That reason being all of the free marketing it got by the media reporting that it was a dangerous film, which obviously made audience more excited to see it.
