DEADPOOL 2 Director Won't Deny SPIDER-MAN Connection In Regards To Clip

Do you remember that old man getting robbed in the alley in the teaser trailer for Deadpool 2? A lot of people speculated that the man getting robbed in the alleyway was "Uncle Ben," and that there was some low-key connection between Deadpool 2 and Spider-Man. Seems like quite an age difference between Uncle Ben and Aunt May if we're referencing the same Aunt May from Spider-Man: Homecoming! Still, there could be something there as director David Leitch isn't disparaging the rumors when Comicbook asked if it was him:

"That's a really interesting question. I think that people should continue to theorize who that old man was."

Honeslty, I think it would be a hilarious in-joke for Aunt May's dead husband to be that old considering how everyone wants a piece of her action. Then again, I'm almost 100% sure that isn't Ben, but Leitch does have me curious as to who he is. Do you think there's something to it or are we just getting toyed with?
