DEADPOOL 2 Gets a Hilarious and Unexpected Synopsis
Following the teaser trailer that was released today for Deadpool 2, 20th Century Fox has revealed an official synopsis for the movie. It's definitely not what any of you were expecting! Here it is...
After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.
This synopsis had me busting up laughing! The marketing team for this franchise has got to be having the greatest time coming up with the promotional material for this movie! This synopsis was completely unexpected, at the same time it's exactly the kind of thing we should be expecting from Deadpool!
I can't wait to see what other fun surprises that the marketing team has in store for the fans in the future.
It also seems like the sequel has yet to get an official title. Until it does, we'll just continue to call it Deadpool 2. The movie hits theaters on June 1st, 2018
