DEADPOOL 2, NEW MUTANTS, and X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX Will All Be Released Next Year!
20th Century Fox has revealed the release dates for three of its upcoming Marvel films and they're all coming next year! New Mutants will be released on April 13th, 2018, Deadpool 2 is coming on June 1st, 2018, and X-Men: Dark Pheonix will hit theaters on November 2nd, 2018. It going to be a huge year for the studio and for fans! In addition, Shane Black's The Predator has a new release date of August 3rd, 2018.
New Mutants is coming from director Josh Boone with a cast that includes Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) as Wolfsbane, Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch) as Magik, Nat Wolff as Cannonball, and James McAvoy as Professor Charles Xavier.
Deadpool 2 will by directed by John Wick co-director David Leitch and Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role as the merc with a mouth. He'll be joined by new cast members Josh Brolin as Cable and Zazie Beetz as Domino. I'm sure a few other familiar faces will return as well.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix might end up being written and directed by Simon Kinberg who has been involved as a writer and producer on the X-Men franchise from the very beginning. The film is said to be a light reboot of the X-Men film franchise. There are no official details on any of the cast members.
That same year, Marvel Studios will be releasing Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Ant-Man and the Wasp. So 2018 is going to be an epic year for Marvel films!
