DEADPOOL 2 Stuntwoman Dies on Set in Motorcycle Accident
Some tragic news has surfaced from the set of Deadpool 2 as a stunt woman has died in a motorcycle accident while performing a stunt for the film. The Vancouver police department issued the following statement:
“Vancouver Police can confirm that a female stunt driver has died on the set of Deadpool during a stunt on a motorcycle. VPD officers are at the scene, along with officers from WorkSafeBC. More information will be released when it is available.”
20th Century Fox also released a statement on what happened, saying:
“We are deeply saddened by the accident that occurred on the set of Deadpool 2 this morning. Our hearts and prayers are with the family, friends, and colleagues of our crew member during this difficult time.”
According to bystanders, the fatal stunt was being shot at Jack Poole Plaza and the vehicle crashed through a window of Shaw Tower. The stuntwoman is also said to be the stunt double for Zazie Beetz, who plays Domino in the film.
This is sad news. It's alway strange to hear when someone dies on the set of a film. Here is a group of talented creative people making something for fans and audiences to enjoy, and in the process of the fun of making movie magic happen something like this happens.
