DEADPOOL Director Tim Miller Was "Horrified" When Footage Leaked Online
While it all ended up working in the end, Tim Miller was sick to his stomach and "horrified," when he got home from SDCC and saw that his Deadpool footage had leaked online. The director of the first film shares what was going on in his head when it happened in a recent interview with Comicbook:
“The leak which happened at Comic Con. I literally got home from Comic Con, put my bags down from getting off the train, and my phone starts blowing up. Like, ‘Dude, your s*it’s online. Oh my f*cking god!’ I was horrified. I felt sick to my stomach. I thought Fox would kill me.”
Instead, Fox finally brought the film out of development hell and did the rest is history. Although Miller has stepped away from Deadpool 2, he has to be happy that his first film has become the mega hit that it was and spurred a justification for R-rated superhero films. Can you imagine a world without the Deadpool film?
