Deadpool Gets Served Court Papers at Comic Convention in Hilarious Cosplay Moment

Even the Merc with a Mouth can’t dodge the law forever. At this year’s Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle, one unsuspecting Deadpool cosplayer found himself hilariously “served” with court papers right on the convention floor.

X user @justpids was strolling around the con in full Deadpool cosplay, just another fan enjoying the chaos of Emerald City Comic Con. Then things took an unexpected turn when two other cosplayers stepped in to deliver some “official business.”

A Foggy Nelson cosplayer and Jennifer Walters, better known as She-Hulk, approached him not for a selfie, but to hand him an official-looking summons ordering Wade Wilson to appear before a U.S. District Court.

The charges were perfectly on brand for Marvel’s most reckless antihero.

According to the summons, Deadpool is accused of first-degree murder and unauthorized breaking of the fourth wall.

The staged moment quickly made the rounds online because it’s exactly the kind of chaotic, geeky humor you hope to see at a comic convention.
