DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE Projected To Pull in a Massive $370 Million on Its Opening Weekend
Deadpool & Wolverine is now projected to bring in a massive $370 million during its opening weekend at the box office. It’s said that around $170 million will be domestic.
These are insane numbers, but I’m not surprised. We all knew that Deadpool and Wolverine on the big screen together was going to bring in the crowds! This movie is definitely going to be breaking records.
If this is how things play out, Deadpool & Wolverine will be the biggest R-rated opening of all-time. Just for comparison, the original Deadpool raked in about $132 million with its opening.
I’m excited about this flick! I’ve been hearing a lot of great things about it from those who had the opportunity to see it already. I’ll personally be watching it on opening night this week while I’m down in San Diego at Comic-Con.
Marvel Studios describes their most “significant mistake to date” as follows, “Deadpool & Wolverine. A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life.
“His days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. When his homeworld faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit-up again with an even more reluctantlier… reluctanter? Reluctantest?
“He must convince a reluctant Wolverine to – Fu-k. Synopses are so f–king stupid.”
Deadpool & Wolverine will hit theaters on July 26th!
