Del Rey Reveals 4 More Classic STAR WARS Books Being Revived
A few months ago, Del Rey announced plans to revive select book titles from the mountain of material currently known as Star Wars Legends.
This is part of their plan to celebrate Lucasfilm’s 50th anniversary and they’ve revealed four more Legends titles being re-released with new covers featuring original artwork. On September 7, fans will be able to grab new trade paperback editions of Dark Force Rising and The Last Command by Timothy Zahn, Darth Bane: The Rule of Two by Drew Karpyshyn, and Rogue Squadron by Michael A. Stackpole. Tracie Ching provides the art for Dark Force Rising and The Last Command, Simon Goinard covers The Rule of Two, and Doaly provides the new cover art for Rogue Squadron.
In addition to these re-releases, Rogue Squadron will also get a new unabridged audiobook narrated by Marc Thompson. The next set of titles for the Essential Legends Collection will be published in Spring 2022.
