Deleted LOKI Montage Featured Loki Wielding the Infinity Gauntlet and Gettin' Busy
Marvel’s Loki almost featured a montage that showed the God of Mischief getting all kinds of crazy. A lot of fans thought Loki coming out as being gender fluid and bisexual was big news, but that’s nothing compared to what Marvel was originally going to show Loki doing!
There’s a montage that ended up being cut from the series that would have featured Loki collecting all of the Infinity Stones, wielding the Infinity Gauntlet, and having lots and lots of sex.
/Film took a closer look at a whiteboard shown in the Assembled: The Making of Loki special on Disney+. Loki head writer Michael Waldron, is standing in front of that whiteboard and there’s a list on it that shows was Loki is shown doing in the montage.
Loki visiting different time periods
Doing crazy mischief, aka sex
Pivots to taking power
Collecting Infinity Stones
Has the Gauntlet, holds power, more sex, bi, alien, etc.
Alone in the throne room. He’s taken power but is infected with thoughts that it isn’t “real” because of TVA’s control over free will
Returns to the TVA, gauntlet’s power down, Mobius is waiting for him
Loki gives honest answers to Mobius. Mobius shows the sheer power of TVA.
Lots of stuff there that certainly would have been interesting to see. I’m not surprised that it was cut, though, especially all of the wild sex. After all, this is a Disney show that is on Disney+. It’s kinda crazy that they actually entertained the idea, though!
One thing that would have been cool to see, though, is Loki wielding the Infinity Gauntlet. That would’ve been a fun moment for the fans! Not sure why they cut that out unless they have future plans for that moment. But then, of course, it was pointed out in the series that the Infinity Stones are powerless and nothing in the realm that the TVA is in. So, maybe it wouldn't have mattered much.
