Delightful First Trailer for Marvel's New Series I AM GROOT Drops at Comic-Con!

Marvel Studios shared the first trailer for the upcoming animated series I Am Groot today at Comic-Con! I wasn’t sure what to expect from the series when it was first announced, but it looks like a charming and fun series with some wild and silly moments that I’m sure fans will enjoy, especially the kids!

Vin Diesel is reprising his role as the voice of Groot, and it was also revelaed during the panel that Bradley Cooper will be returning to voice Rocket Raccoon, which is fantastic! Guardians of the Galaxy franchise director James Gunn is executive producing the show.

I Am Groot is a series of five shorts that will focus on “Baby Groot” as he gets into hijinks, and it will introduce fans to several new and unusual characters. The poster features Groot just chillin’ and listening to Peter Quill’s Walkman while two tiny CG creatures watch him.

Marvel Studios will release I Am Groot on Disney+ on August 10th, 2022.
