Delightful New Trailer for Neil Gaiman's GOOD OMENS Series and Benedict Cumberbatch Will Play Satan

Amazon Prime has released a fantastically delightful new trailer for the upcoming series based on Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s Good Omens. The trailer doesn’t show any footage from the series; it’s just a fun animation that takes us on a journey show's apocalyptic world. It also announces that the show will premiere on May 31st.

The six-part series stars Michael Sheen as the angel Aziraphale and David Tannant as the demon Crowley, and as you saw in the first trailer, they are perfect for the roles that they play. It was also just announced that Benedict Cumberbatch will play Satan, so that will be fun!

This is sure to be a great show to watch! Here’s the synopsis:

This series follows the story of Aziraphale, an angel, and Crowley, a demon, who have formed an unlikely friendship spanning 6,000 years and have grown fond of life on earth. However, the end of time grows near with the approaching Armageddon and they must now join forces to find a way to save the world.

The series also stars Jon Hamm, who takes on the role of the Archangel Gabriel, Jack Whitehall, Michael McKean, Adria Arjona, Nina Sosanya, Ned Dennehy, Ariyon Bakare, Mark Gatiss, Derek Jacobi, and Miranda Richardson
