Delightful Trailer For a Animated Movie About a Dog and a Robot ROBOT DREAMS
I’ve got a trailer here for you to watch for a delightful-looking little animated film titled Robot Dreams. The film has no dialogue, and it follows the adventures and misfortunes of Dog and Robot in NYC during the '80s.
The movie is based on the popular graphic novel by Sara Varon, and the synopsis reads: “Dog lives in Manhattan and he's tired of being alone. One day after seeing a commercial on television, he decides to build himself a robot, a companion. Their friendship blossoms, until they become inseparable, to the rhythm of 80's NYC. One summer night, Dog, with great sadness, is forced to abandon Robot at the beach. Will they ever meet again?"
The movie was written and directed by filmmaker Pablo Berger, and it’s been making the rounds at the film festivals. Neon picked up the film and they will release it in US release, but no release date has been set yet. I’ll be looking forward to watching this!
