The film tells the story of a man named Bruno who recently lost his wife and doesn’t want to leave the seaside cottage they built together. After being kicked out, he returns to meet the new owner and pretends to be a handyman. During this time as he is working around the cottage, Bruno is forced to face the fact that his wife is gone and he needs to move on from his grief.

Still mourning the death of his wife, Bruno is hopelessly attached to the seaside cottage they built together. When he's evicted by his soulless in-laws, Bruno vows to get it back at any price.
