Delightful Trailer for Jason Segel and Harrison Ford's Comedy-Drama Series SHRINKING
Apple TV+ has released a full trailer for its upcoming comedy-drama series Shrinking, which comes from Bill Lawrence, the creator of Scrubs and Ted Lasso. This trailer put a smile on my face, and I’m 100% in! I like the who tone and the good vibes that it gives off.
This is going to be quite a delightful series that will moving and heartfelt story of a grieving and unstable therapist played by Jason Segel, “who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own.”
The show also stars Harrison Ford plays Dr. Phil Rhodes, "a down-to earth, sharp as a tack 'blue collar shrink,' blunt but with an ever present twinkle. Phil is a pioneer in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy who has built a successful practice over the years that he shares with his two young proteges, Jimmy and Gaby. Fiercely independent, Phil has recently been diagnosed with Parkinson's, which forces him out of his comfort zone."
Segel and Ford are joined by Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Michael Urie, Luke Tennie, and Lukita Maxwell. It's written and executive produced by Brett Goldstein (Ted Lasso), Brian Gallivan, and Segel. Apple will release Shrinking streaming on Apple TV+ starting January 27th, 2023.
