Today, Demiplane has a pretty awesome announcement for fans of tabletop RPGs. The team has officially announced Free League Nexus. This will be the official digital toolset for Free League. If you’re a fan of that tabletop RPG, you’ll be happy to know that Free League Nexus will launch in 2022 with an Early Access phase launching in an effort to get community feedback to improve and further shape the toolset. If this sounds awesome, head on over to the official site to get updates including when Early Access is available.

Some of the features planned for Free League Nexus include a digital reader, game rules compendium, character builder, and interactive character sheet. There will also be an online playspace where you can connect with other players for video chat and matchmaking. Talking about bringing Free League a new toolset, Adam Bradford at Demiplane said:

Free League has taken the tabletop roleplaying space by storm in the last few years, publishing games that are steeped in masterful game design, unparalleled production value, and compelling storytelling potential. We’re thrilled to bring this kind of digital support to life for these incredible games–I can’t wait to use Free League Nexus at my own table!

CEO of Free League Publishing, Tomas Härenstam added:

Tabletop gaming and its communities have been moving online for years, and we want our games to be where gamers are. Free League Nexus on Demiplane is another major step for us in this direction. We don’t want gamers to choose between playing online or at a physical table–Free League Nexus gives them tools to enhance the experience for both.

This is Demiplane’s third (or more official digital toolsets coming soon. The others include Pathfinder Nexus and World of Darkness Nexus.
