DESTINY 2's Season of the Worthy Release Trailer, Screenshots, and More!

The trailer for Destiny 2’s Season of the Worthy has finally dropped and it is amazing! We’ll give a brief overview of what is going on this season, there is a lot. Also, check out the bunch of gifs, screenshots, images, and trailers at the end.

Story

The Cabal have been driven out of the Sundial and seem to be retreating. However, a Psion Flayer has sent the Almighty ship on a crash course for the Last City. We have to work on powering up Rasputin and working with him to save the last home of humanity.

Activities

Trials of Osiris is back! The pinnacle of Destiny PVP is coming back in full force and we could not be more excited to have crazy weekends playing for hours until we get a flawless run. This will be available to all players 960 and above. But wait, there’s more! There is already a great storyline for us to follow, save the Last City, and we will be doing this primarily by powering up and communicating with Rasputin in the new PVE event, Seraph Tower. There will also be legendary lost sectors coming throughout the season and things called Seraph Bunkers, which may be like mini dungeons or something, no idea yet. In April, a new Nightfall difficulty will be coming to challenge the most elite players called Grandmaster Ordeal. Lastly, there is a new event in the spring called the Guardian Games that looks like a class-based faction rally kind of event, we have no other information, but it sounds like fun!

Armor and Gear

There will be new exotic armor (probably one per class), a new exotic auto rifle, Tommy’s Matchbook, and a new exotic quest which is most likely the Fourth Horseman shotgun from the first Destiny. There will be lots of new gear from Trials of Osiris, and new seasonal gear that is free. Also, there will be four legendary guns probably tied to the new PVE mode along with the two from the seasonal pass. Lastly, in another new event called the Guardian Games, we will be getting another set of legendary gear. This is a lot to collect in and out of this seasonal pass, and a lot of it looks really great.
