DETECTIVE PIKACHU Gets a Fan Made TRUE DETECTIVE Style Trailer and It's Weird and Terrifying

For those of you who are looking for an even darker and grittier version of Detective Pikachu, filmmaker Sam Haft created a fan made trailer that shows us what the film would be like if it was done in the same dark tone as HBO’s True Detective.

It’s called True Detective Pikachu and it’s both really weird and kind of terrifying. Especially the Pokemon stripper scene. It’s definitely something that you’ve got to see, just to see it.

One thing that I have to point out is the Matthew McConaughey impression… it’s perfect! But having it come out of this human-esque Pikachu character is something pulled out of a nightmare.
