DeWanda Wise Joins JURASSIC WORLD 3 in a Lead Role
DeWanda Wise, who is best known for her role in Netflix’s She’s Gotta Have It, has been cast in director Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World 3, and she will be taking on a leading role.
She joins the previously cast Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, who will reprise their roles of Owen and Claire from the previous film. Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum, who starred in the original 1993 Jurassic Park movie, will also be reprising their roles in the movie, which is one of the things I’m most excited about!
Trevorrow is co-writing the movie Emily Carmichael, and it seems like the film deals with the aftermath of the dinosaurs being unleashed into the world. This new world inhabited by dinosaurs was teased in a short film that was previously released called Battle at Big Rock, which you can watch here.
Steven Spielberg returns to produce the film, and Universal Pictures will release it on June 21st, 2021.
