DIABLO II Remaster Reportedly in the Works at Vicarious Visions

Over the weekend, a rumor about a popular Blizzard game started gaining some traction. Many fans now just expect remakes and/or remasters of classic games from gaming giants, and the latest rumor has to do with the popular Diablo II. The site ActuGaming claims their sources say that Diablo II: Resurrected, a remaster of the 20-year-old hit, is being made over at Vicarious Visions (the team that worked on the PC port of Destiny 2) and is set to be released during the fourth quarter of 2020.

Given that Blizzard has been redoing their classic titles, this really would not surprise me at all. I just hope that they think things through a bit better than the release of Warcraft III: Remastered. While I may have enjoyed it, there were a lot of problems that more hardcore fans still aren’t forgiving the company for. What do you think of this rumor? Do you want to see a remaster of Diablo II?
