Did DARK WINDS Just Troll George R.R. Martin Over THE WINDS OF WINTER?

Dark Winds Season 3 recently premiered on AMC, and it featured a scene where George R. R. Martin and Robert Redford are playing jailhouse chess. In case you didn’t know, these two are executive producers on the show.

One of the movie amusing parts of the clip is Redford’s opening line, when he says: “George, the whole world’s waiting! Make a move!”

The line is obviously referring to George, the character, taking too long to move his chess piece. But it’s hard not think about Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire book series and how the fans have been waiting for years to finish the next book in the series, The Winds of Winte.

So, yeah… George, the whole world is waiting on those books, so make a move! Finish the damn thing!
