Did STRANGER THINGS Actor Dacre Montgomery Tease That He's Up For NIGHTWING?

By now the world knows Dacre Montgomery from his role in the Netflix series Stranger Things. But, this weekend the actor posted a mysterious Nightwing tease on his twitter account. Warner Bros. has been developing a highly anticipated solo movie for Dick Grayson, aka Nightwing.

The announcement for the Nightwing movie from The LEGO Batman Movie director Chris McKay got a lot of excitement, but there haven't been many updates since then, with McKay offering small tidbits here and there about the film’s status.

But there is a good chance that an announcement for the Batman spinoff may be coming very soon since McKay completely overhauled his Twitter profile recently giving it a Nightwing theme. And it may be safe to assume that Dacre Montgomery could be part of that announcement. That's because Montgomery shared a super cryptic Nightwing tease for seemingly no reason – only to delete it a few minutes later:

It does make sense that WB may be courting Montgomery for a role in that movie as he is, after all, having a great year so far with Power Rangers and Stranger Things. The tweet could hint that he has been offered the role, but it is not confirmation. There's a chance that he could just be trolling fan community or starting a campaign to land the role, but it is very suspicious that he was so quick to delete the tweet. Regardless, it's not completely crazy to think DC Entertainment may have interest in him.
