Did UNBREAKABLE Fans Set Their Expectations Way Too High For GLASS? One Minute Movie Review

Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson and James McAvoy return to writer/director M. Night Shayamalan’s Unbreakable universe for the final chapter of the trilogy, Glass. This film comes 18 years after the first movie, Unbreakable, put a different kind of spin on comic book-themed cinema. Glass follow’s 2016’s Split, which completely surprised audiences when they learned it was actually the second film of a trilogy. But now that Glass has opened in theaters this weekend, there are a lot of mixed reviews, most of them from die-hard fans of the movie that started it all, Unbreakable. But is the criticism and disappointment justified, or like Star Wars fandom, have fans become so fixated on how things should be rather than keeping their minds open to the filmmakers vision?
