Did You Catch the Character Who Was Quietly Introduced in AVENGERS: ENDGAME Who Could Be Introduced to the MCU
As the Easter eggs in Endgame just keep rolling in, most of them are just fun, but we’ve had a few that may be impactful to the future of the MCU. Obviously this is spoiler territory, so if you haven’t seen the movie, keep it moving!
This one takes place in the 1970s, when Steve Rogers and Tony Stark head back in time to retrieve the Tesseract, and in the process of sneaking around and getting the job done at the original S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, Captain America ducks into an office while trying to hide out, which happens to be the office of Peggy Carter, who is in the next room looking frazzled, and dealing with a work situation.
While we were distracted in the moment, seeing Cap get all starry-eyed looking at his long lost love, what Agent Carter was discussing was actually a possible hint at a character who may be consequential to Phase 4 of the MCU! Peggy is heard talking to a coworker about an unseen agent called "Braddock" who "hasn't checked in," and it's widely speculated that this is a reference to Brian Braddock, aka Captain Britain, a character who Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has previously said that he would like to bring to the big screen somewhere down the line.
Both Captain Britain and Black Knight have been rumored to make an appearance in Phase 4, and while this "Braddock" may not be Captain Britain, it could very easily be his father or someone else of substance, since movies in the MCU are all connected and names and hints are usually perfectly planned and placed for a reason.
What do you think? Would you be excited to see Captain Britain in Phase 4? Do you think he was the Braddock Peggy Carter was referring to?
