Did You See That? RWBY Volume 6 Episode 10

Another episode of RWBY has become available for those too poor or too cheap to pay up for Rooster Teeth First, so what happened in it? We’ll discuss today. Please don’t post anything from future episodes.

This episode was a lot more action packed than the last few. Our group of heroes have decided to go with Jaune’s plan to steal an Atlas airship and we get to see it not quite work out. However, there are some great moments along the way. Saphron and Adrian escort Weiss to the military base where Weiss fake turns herself in. Her luggage is found to be incredibly heavy and that’s because Maria is hiding in it. We then find out a bit more of the plan and it involves a number of things working out.

We then get to see Blake and Yang as they seem to be going somewhere to disable Atlas security so that the heroes can actually get away with stealing the airship. We later find out that Blake gets caught up fighting Adam and she is unable to disable the security which leads to more trouble. I will say, I did not expect to see Adam and Blake fighting this season. I thought it was going to have Blake constantly in fear of running into Adam and then the confrontation would be next season.

Meanwhile, everyone except Blake, Maria, Weiss, and Yang is waiting for the airship to pick them up. When things go south, we have another moment of Qrow throwing a giant self-pity party and Ruby is not having it.

Now, we’re going to talk about my favorite parts. First, Maria is incredible. She steals the ship with Weiss and is hilarious in just about everything she does. The best part is when Caroline figures out that Maria is piloting the ship and then Maria starts eating cashews! It made me laugh. The other great part is Caroline’s reaction. She freaking turns her base into a mech to chase after the airship. I cannot wait to see how it all pans out.
