Director Christopher Landon Talks About His Upcoming Thriller DROP in New Behind the Scenes Featurette

Director Christopher Landon is best known for writing and directing edge-of-your-seat thrillers like the Paranormal Activity franchise, Happy Death Day and its sequel, and Freaky. His latest pic is the film Drop, from writers Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach (Truth or Dare, Fantasy Island).

It tells the nail-biting story of a widowed mother's first date in years, which takes a terrifying turn when she's bombarded with anonymous threatening messages on her phone during their upscale dinner, leaving her questioning if her charming date is behind the harassment.

The film stars Meghann Fahy (The White Lotus) and Brandon Sklenar (It Ends With Us), as well as Violett Beane, Jacob Robinson, Reed Diamond, Gabrielle Ryan, Jeffery Self, Ed Weeks, and Travis Nelson.

Landon describes the film as “suspenseful and exciting and emotional” in the new featurette below. Check it out, and watch Drop when it’s released in theaters on April 11th.
