Director Doug Liman Drops Out of JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK

Warner Bros. Justice League Dark just lost its director, Doug Liman. I'm actually kind of bummed about this because I think Liman, who directed Edge of Tomorrow, was a solid choice. According to Variety, the reason he dropped out was because of schedule-related issues. He is attached to direct Chaos Walking for Lionsgate. That just got the green light, so he's moving forward with that project.

According to inside sources, the studio has already started their hunt for a new director, and they've already started meeting with a few. Maybe they should go back to Guillermo Del Toro, who was originally supposed to direct the film.

There aren't any story details for Justice League Dark, but it revolves around a supernatural team of DC characters that consist of John Constantine, Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna, and Etrigan the Demon. The film will apparently play a major role in the new DCEU.

Scott Rudin is producing the film, and Michael Gilio is writing the script. Hopefully WB finds a talented director to replace him. Do any of you have any suggestions?
