Director Ethan Coen Sets Up His Next Solo Feature Film Project
Joel and Ethan Coen have had a long career of making great movies together. Joel recently went and did his own thing with The Tragedy of Macbeth, which was met with critical acclaim. Now his brother Ethan is looking to direct a solo film of his own.
Ethan Coen’s untitled film is set up at Focus Features and Working Title, and he co-wrote the film with his wife, Tricia Cooke. Unfortunately, we have no plot details to share right now, only that this movie will be Ethan’s first time going solo.
Coen and Cooke are also producing with Robert Graf and Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner.
I love the films that the Coen Bros. have made together. They have such a wonderful writing style and a unique eye for filmmaking. I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of film Ethan ends up making.
