Director James Wan Wants to Make a Batman Horror Movie
It seems that Aquaman isn’t the only comic book film that director James Wan has set his sights on. He wants to direct a Batman movie, but not just any kind of Batman movie, Batman horror movie! During an interview with Heroic Hollywood, the filmmaker said:
“In the past like most people I loved the idea of directing Batman, but a horror version of Batman. That would be a potential fantasy of mine, but I feel like he’s been done quite a fair bit. But, I do love the idea of doing an outright scary Batman. I feel like that’d be really cool.”
A horror version of Batman? Yeah, I’d totally be down for that, especially with Wan at the helm! You know that he’d deliver a hell of an awesome film! I’d love to find out what his vision for a horror batman film would look like.
I doubt that this is a film that will ever get made. If it does happen, it’s not going to happen for a very long time. Who knows, though! After all, WB is producing multiple Joker films, so why not start making multiple Batman films!?
