Director Scott Derrickson Has an R-Rated Horror Film Ready To Go After He's Done with His DOCTOR STRANGE Sequel
Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson has revealed that he’s got another R-rated horror moving cooking that he will jump into production on after he’s finished with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It’ll be fun to see the filmmaker dive into another dark and disturbing horror film project. Before taking on Doctor Strange, Derrickson made films like Sinister, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, and Deliver Us From Evil.
He also revealed that he wrote the script for the film with frequent collaborator C. Robert Cargill. In response to Derrickson sharing the news on Twitter, Cargill shared his excitement for the project and revealed that the film they are developing is an adaptation of one of author Joe Hill’s stories. He didn’t reveal what one, though. You can check out both tweets below:
I’ll be looking forward to seeing what this project actually ends up being. Are there any Joe Hill stories that you’d like to see adapted by Derrickson?
