Director Todd Phillips Shares Several Photos From Emotional Last Day of Shooting JOKER With Joaquin Phoenix
Coming off the high of his film’s star, Joaquin Phoenix, winning his first Oscar for his role in Joker, director Todd Phillips shared a collection of photos on his Instagram of himself and Phoenix on their last day of shooting the film that went on to also win the Academy Award for Best Original Score, as well as celebrate nine other nominations.
Here’s what Phillips had to say in the post:
All of these were taken on our last day of shooting. It was bittersweet for sure— while it felt great to be done, we also had such an intense and unique experience— and then suddenly it just ends. What a ride this film has been and it all culminated with watching Joaquin walk up on that stage this weekend. Thanks again to the entire cast and crew. And especially the fans, for seeing through all the noise and showing up. #joker #illtellyouwhatyouget
