Director Tommy Wirkola Has Made an Animated Sex Musical Comedy SPERMAGEDDON

Directors Tommy Wirkola (Dead Snow, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters) and Rasmus A. Sivertsen (Louis and Luca), have developed an animated sex musical comedy titled Spermageddon.

Apparently the film was the most talked about film at Annecy Film Festival, and it has been acquired by Originals Factory for France. This is the same distributor that released Everything Everywhere All at Once and The Whale.

The filmmakers described the movie as “crude and heartwarming” and it tells the story of a “teenage couple experiencing their first time and two sperm cells on a fateful journey to find the egg.” The film is said to feature “musical numbers and a whole load of talking sperm cells.”

The movie was inspired by projects such as South Park and Sausage Party, and the raunchy film features musical numbers and a whole load of talking sperm cells.

Originals Factory CEO Tristan Du Laz said in a statement: “Spermageddon marks our first step into feature animation. We’re thrilled and terribly excited to be working on such an original, daring and irreverent cinematic proposition, one that’s furiously in tune with the times.

“This film is a total favorite, and we can’t wait to share it with the young-adult audience for whom it is intended.”

Charades chairman Yohann Comte added: “I couldn’t think of a better distributor for the film. Originals Factory has proved they were one of the only distributors who could be audacious and innovative enough to bring to the theaters the young adult audience with bold indie cinema proposals, while maximizing ancillary revenues.”

This is sure going to make for an interesting animated movie!
