Director Zack Snyder Releases His Design For Steppenwolf in JUSTICE LEAGUE
Director Zack Snyder is in the process of developing his long-awaited cut of Justice League, which is coming to HBO Max. He recently took a moment from working on the film to share a photo offering a first look at his new design of the film’s villain, Steppenwolf.
Steppenwolf is a general of Apokolips and a messenger of Darkseid. Snyder shared the image on his VERO account and it came along with the caption:
"Just working today pulled this out of the editorial sorry he’s Low resolution but I’ve seen him in all his hi-Rez glory and he’s a thing to behold quick question... how many f@*ks do you think he gives ???"
As you’ll see, the design here looks a hell of a lot more interesting than the one we ended up seeing in the original film. You can see the original version of the character below:
Snyder previously shared a clip for his cut of the film featuring Superman wearing his black suit, which you can check out here. He also shared an image of Darkseid and he’s going to reveal a hell of a lot more at the upcoming DC FanDome event.
The highly anticipated cut of Sndyer’s Justice League will be nearly four hours long, and there’s a possibility that it will be cut up into separate chapters when it’s released on HBO Max.
Snyder and his team are cutting the film together, finishing the VFX work, which obviously includes the redesign of the villain Steppenwolf. They are also adding in the new musical score, and the cast is coming back to record additional dialogue. This is going to cost the studio over $30 million.
I hope that this movie ends up being everything that the fans hope it will be.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be on HBO Max in 2021.
