DISGAEA 5: ALLIANCE OF VENGEANCE Announced for PS4
One of the biggest questions for me in considering the newest console generation was, "Who has the RPGs?" I spent most of the last generation on 360, and it was sorely lacking in that department. Now, being on a PlayStation 4, it's been a waiting game to see when the JRPG publishers would finally make the leap to next-gen.
That wait now has an official release date, as Atlus and NIS America announced strategy RPG Disgaea 5 will be coming to PS4 sometime in fall of 2015. Two of the biggest additions to the game are new systems Alliance Attack and Revenge. Alliance Attack allows your main characters to open new moves and combo attacks as time goes on and they fight in battle together. Revenge mode allows your characters to go into an enhanced battle mode after suffering enough punishment. Both are welcome additions to an already dense system, and here's hoping that the characters themselves feature the same quirky attitudes that the series is known for.
