Disgruntled DC Fans Will Attempt to Sabotage BLACK PANTHER's Rotten Tomatoes Score

In what will probably be the most ridiculous news you'll read all week, a group of disgruntled DC fans will make an attempt to sabotage the Rotten Tomatoes score for Marvel's Black Panther.

There's a Facebook event that has been created called "Give Black Panther a Rotten Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes" and their hope is to ruin the film’s audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and they also plan on purposely spoiling the film for Marvel fans. They are obviously looking for a fight.

It's a shame that these people have already decided to hate a movie that they haven't even seen yet and make an attempt to hurt everyone involved. Look, I get that people have different tastes in films and some fans prefer DC over Marvel and Marvel over DC, but there's room to enjoy both properties. Hell, even though Batman v Superman and Justice League didn't get the greatest positive response from critics, most of them loved Wonder Woman and that includes a ton of Marvel fans! They weren't trashing on a great movie to make a point. They embraced it.

As of writing this, the event currently has almost 2000 people signed up. The event description reads:

"Given the massive success of the audience review rigging on the Rotten Tomatoes site for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and due to the sudden rise in those disgruntled with Disney business practices among other factors especially due to the corporate manipulations which created falsified bad press for the DCEU, I feel that it's time to strike back at all those under Disney and bring down the house of mouse's actions for paying off the critics that hurt DC Comics on film and for other parties affected by them.
I'll be making events like this for Infinity War and the Netflix shows etc so we can rally together to truly make a difference. Share this with your friends and all potential sympathizers.

P.S. If you want to spread spoilers to Marvel fanboys, use this event as a platform to inform us of targets!

The funniest part of that statement is that they believe Disney pays off critics. If you write for a website or are familiar with how the industry works, then you'll know why that's so funny.

The saddest part about this whole thing is that it's happening with Black Panther. This film should be a celebration as it's a superhero film that highlights and celebrates people of color and different cultures. But this group is using it as a way to express their hatred for Marvel.

Now this is just a very small fraction of DC fans. Most DC fans that I know and most DC fans, in general, aren't this malicious. So this does not in any way represent the view of every DC fan.

I doubt these people will make a dent. After all, Black Panther's pre-sales are higher than any superhero movie before it... ever. Nothing is going to stop Black Panther from succeeding.
