Disney Announces New Release Dates for Its Upcoming Marvel Films, INDIANA JONES 5, and More

Disney has announced new release dates for its upcoming slate of films. As you know, with theaters shut down due to the coronavirus, a lot of these films were already removed from the schedule. But now we have some dates to look forward to.

Black Widow is set to be released on November 6th, 2020, taking the place of The Eternals. That move ended up pushing back most upcoming films. The Eternals will now be released on February 12th, 2021, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will arrive on May 7th, 2021, Doctor Strange 2 is coming on November 5th, 2021 and Thor: Love and Thunder will hit theaters on February 18, 2022. Black Panther 2 will still debut on May 8th, 2022, while Captain Marvel 2 has been set for July 8, 2022.

The live-action remake of Mulan has been pushed to July 24th, 2020, which was a date previously occupied by Jungle Cruise. Jungle Cruise will now hit theaters a year later on June 20th, 2021.

As for Indiana Jones 5, it was initially set to launch in the summer of 2021, but now it has moved to August 29th, 2022. Ryan Reynolds’s Free Guy has moved from August 3rd, 2020 to December 11th, 2020 and Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch shifted from August 24th, 2020 to October 16th, 2020.

As of right now Disney is staying firm on the release dates of Pixar’s Soul (June 19th), West Side Story (Dec. 18th) and The Last Duel (Dec. 25).

The New Mutants, Woman in the Window, Antlers and The Personal History of David Copperfield remain without release dates.
