Disney CEO Bob Iger Confirms There Are Ten Marvel Shows in Development for Disney+

It looks like there are more Marvel shows in development for Disney+ than we thought! During Disney’s quarterly earnings call, CEO Bob Iger opened up about the future of Marvel Studios’ Disney+ content. He explained that Disney isn’t feeling any pressure to develop shows faster for Disney+, and confirms that they are currently developing ten Marvel shows in total.

After spotlighting The Falcon and the Winter SoldierWandaVision, and Loki, Iger went on to say that "There are seven other Marvel series in various stages of development or pre-production."

The only other shows that have been officially announced include HawkeyeMoon KnightMs. Marvel, She-Hulk, and the animatedWhat If...? series which is only five shows. So, that leaves two more that have yet to be announced. Unless those two shows include the two non-fiction shows including Marvel's 616,  “an anthological documentary series exploring the intersection between Marvel’s rich legacy of stories, characters and creators and the world outside your window," and Marvel's Storyboards, a series following Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada "as he explores the origin stories and creative drives of storytellers of all mediums, backgrounds, and experiences.”

Iger didn’t clarify what the other two shows were, though. Regardless, I’m sure that Marvel has got a lot of other Disney+ projects in the works that haven’t been announced yet. It’ll be interesting to see what they end up being. What are some characters you’d like to see get their own shows?
