It’s Disney’s big weekend and yesterday they brought news about many of their upcoming film and TV projects, with news about attractions headed to the parks coming soon.

One of the anticipated sequels headed our way is Coco 2, the continuation of the story which began with the first film in 2017.

Actor Benjamin Bratt took to the stage at D23 to tell the crowd that he’s coming back to play the spiritual legendary singer Ernesto de la Cruz.

“He’s a little menace who ruined a career and destroyed a legend,” said Bratt, “Ernesto de la Cruz is back for revenge…proving that fate has twists.”

It was also revealed that in this next story, young Miguel is no longer a boy, but is now a teenager. Fans also found out that Coco is going to be a part of the next Kingdom Hearts video game that’s set to come out next year.
