Well, shit. Disney has officially postponed the release dates of a few of their upcoming films. Marvel’s Black Widow, Marvel’s Eternals, Marvel’s Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, and Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile have been pushed back several months.
I hate reporting on these release date changes. It just makes me sad that the releases of these films that I’m excited about seeing keep getting pushed back!
Black Widow was set to be released on November 6th, but now it will be released on May 7th, 2021.
Eternals moves from February 12th, 2021 to November 5th, 2021.

West Side Story moves from December 18th , 2020 to December 10th, 2021. A whole year!
Death on the Nile moves from October 23rd, 2020 to December 18th, 2020.
Disney has decided to keep the November 20th release date of Pixar’s next animated film Soul, so that’s good.
There are a few other release date changes. Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas’ Deep Water will movie from November 13th, 2020 to August 13th, 2021. Then there are a couple of films with release dates getting pushed up including The Empty Man, a horror film with James Badge Dale, which will be released on October 23rd, 2020 instead of December. The King’s Man has been moved up by two weeks and will now be released on Februaray 12th, 2021.
