Disney+ Drops Friendship Featurette for Upcoming Pixar Film LUCA

One of the key themes in the upcoming Disney and Pixar film Luca is friendship. To celebrate friendships all over, a new featurette for the film was released showing us some of the friendships we’ll see in the film while also hearing cast members and like Maya Rudolph and Jim Gaffigan as well as director Enrico Casarosa reminisce about their friendships. It’s a very heartwarming featurette that makes me excited for the film.

Disney and Pixar’s original feature film “Luca” is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides. Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret: they are sea monsters from another world just below the water’s surface.

Luca will be available to stream on Disney+ starting June 18. The film stars Jacob Tremblay as Luca Paguro, Jack Dylan Grazer as Alberto Scorfano, Emma Berman as Giulia Marcovaldo, Saverio Raimondo as town bully Ercole Visconti, Rudolph as Luca’s mom Daniela, Marco Barricelli as Giulia’s dad Massimo, Gaffigan as Luca’s dad Lorenzo, Sandy Martin as Luca’s grandma, and Giacomo Gianniotti as a local fisherman.
