Disney Interested in Beyonce as Nala for Live Action Version of THE LION KING

Queen Bey appears ready to unleash her inner lioness. Variety is reporting that Disney and Jon Favreau are both interested in casting the pop icon Beyonce as Nala for the upcoming live action adaptation of The Lion King. This would add her to the already impressive cast that adds Donald Glover as Simba and James Earl Jones reprising his role as Mufasa. For the soundtrack's sake, having both Glover and Beyonce on board can only mean great things! I'm calling it right now, Bruno Mars is doing a song for this movie.

What are your thoughts on having Beyonce in the role? In terms of acting, it would be her first major film appearance since Epic.
