Disney Is Developing NATIONAL TREASURE 3

It looks like Disney is actually finally moving forward with National Treasure 3. There’s been talk of this movie possibly happening for years. About ten years ago Carlo Bernard and Doug Miro were hired to write a script for the sequel.

THR is now reporting that Bad Boys For Life writer Chris Bremner is currently working on a new script and that Jerry Bruckheimer is returning to produce. We have no other details to share regarding the project, but I assume Nicolas Cage and a few of the other original castmembers will return.

I enjoyed the first two films in the franchise, and it’d be fun to see another one, so hopefully, Bremner comes up with a fun and adventurous new story to tell.
