Disney is Now Pushing Several AVENGERS: ENDGAME Actors For Best Supporting Oscars
Disney has updated its “For Your Consideration” nomination list for Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame. They are now pushing several actors for the Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress awards.
A lot of fans were upset when none of the actors were being pushed for any awards. The fans especially wanted to see Robert Downey Jr. nominated. Well, now he is along with all the other big actors in the movie! No one was nominated for any lead actor or lead actress awards.
Disney has listed Downey, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Josh Brolin, Paul Rudd, and Don Cheadle for Best Supporting Actor consideration. Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, and Brie Larson are all listed for Best Supporting Actress.
Disney previously asked for consideration for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Film Editing, Best Production Design, Best Costume Design, Best Makeup & Hairstyling, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing, Best Visual Effects, and Best Score.
So, even though Downey Jr. declined a Best Actor Oscar campaign, he’s getting it anyway. Do you think any of these actors will actually end up getting a nomination?
